McNeil Engineering has been working with Professor Paul Jewell, Department of Geology and Geophysics from the University of Utah, on an exciting project at the Books Cliffs in eastern Utah. Our 3D laser scanning team is working to see if using laser scanning equipment could identify different mineral lenses in the Green River Formation. If this is possible, it would mean a new technology for energy resource surveying! We will keep you updated!
